You’ve found my cozy corner for creatives, dreamers, or anyone who notices the little details that make life interesting.
Here, it’ll always be a work in progress, as I share the messy, magical parts of my creative process: sketches that turned into posters, late-night Procreate experiments, and the decisions that transform a vague idea into a bold design.
Same Words, Different Language
I’d like to revisit an old conceptual poster design from college. The minimal design turned out to be one of my favorite projects in my junior year. Clear communication is a key to any lasting relationship. The poster opens the door to reflect on gendered speech, or language use, and the complications that result from the differences in how individuals use their words.
Ulmus americana, American Elm
Ulmus americana is, as you may have guessed, native to North America. It can be found in literally every state in the Continental US. Considering it’s popularity with the wildlife, its welcoming arms, its non-flashy appearance, its ability to adapt to almost any environment, and its vastly complex root structure guarded just below the surface of the soil made it the perfect tree for me.
